I'm Emiliano G.O., a systems and infrastructure engineer based in Uruguay. I build developer tooling, data systems, database infrastructure, and security software, primarily with Python and Rust.

I tend to build systems around a few principles.
Explicit state
Important state should be inspectable rather than implicit.
Determinism
The same inputs should produce the same result whenever practical.
Fail closed
Incomplete evidence should not silently become confidence.
Reproducibility
A claim should be measurable and rerunnable.
Separation of concerns
Format-specific behavior belongs at the boundary; generic machinery belongs in the core.
Show evidence
Claims without measurements are marketing. Show the data.
